The 14th Dave Schultz Memorial will feature some of the world’s top wrestlers including wrestlers from the U.S., Canada, India and Italy.

The 10th-ranked University of Oklahoma wrestling squad will host a pair of top 20 opponents this weekend, beginning with No. 23 Virginia Tech in the fifth annual "Beauty and the Beast" event at the Lloyd Noble Center on Friday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. Following Friday's dual, the Sooners return to the McCasland Field House to battle 15th-ranked Lehigh on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 12 p.m.

This year the Cadet and Junior divisions expect 1,300 entries and open spots going quickly. The 1st Place and True 2nd Place matches will take place in the McLeod Center, UNI’s championship arena.

The three-time All-American is 20-1 this season at 184 and has led the Cowboys to a No. 7 national ranking.

Jessica Medina (51kg), Othella Feroleto (59kg) and Sam Hazewinkel (55kg) are competing on Friday. Russian Olympic champ Adam Saitiev has returned from retirement.

The top 17-20 year old men will compete in freestyle & Greco-Roman in Madison. This is a FILA Junior World Team Trials qualifier.

College programs in Division I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA and the NCWA have all benefited financially from USA Wrestling's Making A Difference tournaments.

Wrestling legend Myron Roderick will be honored on Saturday Feb. 11 at Oklahoma State. The next day is the NWCA National Duals regional event there.
